OPERATIONS / ADMINSTRATIVE COORDINATOR – FULL TIME

The Operations Coordinator is a dynamic role that encompasses a variety of tasks and responsibilities, with the ultimate goal of providing excellent support and customer service.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Process all program registrations and day program agreements; oversee accounts receivables for member fees
- Serve as first point of contact and provide support for all employees regarding IT issues
- Ensure that necessary workspace, software, and equipment is in place for all employees
- Manage all transportation/vehicle logistics, coordinate repairs/inspections; oversee PACE driver program
- Provide backup coverage for check processing, bank deposits, and reception desk
Skills You Bring to CEL:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all types of personalities
- Adaptability to keep up with a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Accounts Receivable, Database Software and Internet
- Raiser’s Edge experience a plus
- Strong aptitude for learning and utilizing various technological devices and platforms
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in nonprofits and/or experience with individuals with disabilities a plus
- Associates degree and three years of related experience and/or training; or a minimum of five years’ experience in an administrative capacity
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

REACH INSTRUCTOR – FULL TIME

As an instructor in our REACH Day Program, you will be a hands-on leader, guiding members through activities that enhance life skills, promote independence, and build confidence. Every day, you’ll create opportunities for growth, learning, and connection in a fun and inclusive environment!

Essential Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead engaging activities that support our members in promoting social interaction and developing life skills
- Cultivate community involvement by spending time with the members in exploring local resources, events, and volunteer opportunities – our REACH program spends about 70% of the time in the community!
- Foster relationships and build trusting connections with members and their families, by focusing on member needs and goals
- Empower members to learn and celebrate achievements
- Adapt activities and provide personalized assistance to meet the unique needs of each member
Skills You Bring to CEL:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities (preferred)
- Experience with leading groups/teams (preferred)
- Ability to drive CEL vehicles (required – training provided); ability to be PACE certified (preferred)
- Aptitude with current technology, including virtual platforms and other online applications
- Team player, positive attitude, and an ability to work with all types of personalities
- Valid driver’s license with access to working vehicle or adequate alternative transportation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Activity/ Recreation Instructors – PART TIME
Starting pay is $19 per hour for individuals aged 18 to 20 or those not driving CEL vehicles. For employees 21 and older who are qualified drivers (with training provided), the starting pay is $20 per hour.

What You’ll Do:
- Actively assist and lead group activities for teens and adults with developmental disabilities, creating a fun and positive environment for members to thrive.
- Offer valuable feedback to the program team on member engagement and input.
- Facilitate opportunities for members in the community by driving CEL vehicles (if over 21) to destinations and serve as a role model to promote community inclusion.
- Represent CEL and its philosophy by executing our mission on all levels of service, including promotion of member rights, dignity, confidentiality & self-determination.
What You Have:
- One year of experience with people who have intellectual or developmental disabilities (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and be willing to drive CEL vehicles (if 21 and older); –training provided
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends.
- Aptitude in working with current technology, including virtual platforms and other online apps
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must be at least 18 years of age
