People with Disabilities are Great Employees

Many daunting barriers prevent people with intellectual and developmental disabilities from achieving their hopes and dreams for a job. These barriers also impede independence, inclusion, and belonging in the community that come with paid employment.

CEL’s Employment Opportunities Program matches you with qualified candidates who are ready and willing to work. Our team works with both you and the individual to create a sustainable employment plan that provides a long-term, mutually-beneficial relationship.

How Does This Work?

We work with you to identify your business needs and present qualified, pre-screened candidates for the job.
CEL staff works with individuals to ensure they are prepared for employment by assessing capabilities, training in soft skills, and providing peer support.
At no cost to you, CEL matches individuals to your available positions based on experience, interests, and strengths.
Once a placement has been made, we maintain communication with you for quality assurance and provide ongoing support for candidates on and off the job.

Blitt and Gaines is a law firm who partnered with CEL and found a perfect match for the job opportunity they created. Watch their team explain the incredible benefits of bringing Nick onto their team and how his diverse skills, interests, and ideas enhance their team dynamic.
